What’s New at the Tibet Shop!

Summer is here, a few weeks early. After a wet and cool spring the humidity and sunshine have arrived. The pool is being cleaned and I am very excited about the first swim of the year. Some wonderful retreats have come and gone these past few months: “Living With Joy, Dying in Peace” with Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and last week’s “Self-Purification Through the Five Enlightened Bodies,” with Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche.

Now all the energy here at Serenity Ridge is focused on preparing for the summer retreat, which is only a few weeks away. With the anticipated presence of our honored guest His Holiness Lungtok Tenpai Nyima Rinpoche and several other visiting lamas, not to mention Ligmincha’s precious spiritual director Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, this summer retreat is going to be very special. We’re preparing by filling the store with beautiful items.

Personally, I am very excited about the first retreat in Rangeley, Maine, on the land newly donated to Ligmincha. Immediately after the summer retreat Tenzin Rinpoche will be giving a teaching there on Sherab Chamma, and I will be driving up to attend and will bring the store with me.
